Barack Obama won reelection. The Democrats kept the Senate. But Charles Koch and David Koch are still here, actively working to undermine workers’ rights and deny global warming.

And now the Koch Brothers are trying to buy newspapers, including the Los Angeles Times.

Like it or not, money is power. So quit giving your money to people you disagree with.

Another batch of George W. Bush’s paintings have been leaked by hacker Guccifer, and while these don’t feature Bush in the bathtub or the shower, they are loaded with meaning. And what do they mean exactly? That Bush is a typical hobbyist whose favorite subjects include dogs, sunsets and landscapes.

What, were you expecting some kind of political statement? Sorry. We’re really just looking at some pretty typical stuff here.

This photograph does feature a couple matryoshka dolls — anyone know who those are supposed to be? — and a message: “The dogs bark, but the caravan moves on.”

OpenX OnRamp, a service that helps sites (including this one) serve and manage their banner ads, has been down the last two days.

OpenX’s security team is committed to the security of our services. OpenX OnRamp is a no-cost SaaS service based on our open source ad serving product (unlike our other enterprise grade offerings which run on a separate code base), which we have run as a free service to the community.

OnRamp has been the subject of escalating hacker activity in recent months, culminating in a serious attack that occurred Saturday, February 9, 2013. We have made the difficult decision to suspend the OnRamp service to protect our customers as we investigate the breach further and assess the ability of the OnRamp service to withstand future threats. At this time, we cannot predict when, or whether, the OnRamp system will be operational again.

This week hackers released photos of George W. Bush’s paintings. The shots provide an intimate portrait of the former prez, and by intimate, we mean he’s wet and unclothed.

G Dub wasn’t the only politician who traded the sword for the palette knife. Ulysses S. Grant, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Winston Churchill and Adolf Hitler were all fairly decent painters.
